In celebration of Women’s History Month, we will be giving a special guided walk of Hyde Park.
- From queens to pickpockets, petticoat duelists to protesters, this historical walk will explore the hidden stories of women in Hyde Park from its inception to the present.
- Hear of the infamous pickpocket Jenny Diver who met her untimely end at the Tyburn hanging tree.
- Come and stand at Speakers' Corner, the site of Women’s Sunday in 1908 and hear the rousing words that suffragette Emmeline Pankhurst said that day.
- Learn about the camouflage school used during World War I.
